May I introduce you to Werner, the caretaker of the house where i have my studio and office. Almost 80, he is working every day and he is a caretaker literally. He mows the lawn, takes care of the garbage, has an eye on the parking, checks the doors … — everything. I am glad we have him. He never had an easy life for various reasons, but I never heard him complain. I like this guy.
This was just a quick spontaneous portrait this afternoon, almost in walking by. Nothing special, yet I like it. Soon I’ll devote him some more time.

I dig Mr.Kaiser Chief.
You know what? I made a 240 page photo book, the first copy has been printed — and when I refine the problems, I’ll print 30/sort of first edition copies.
There’s a picture of you in it, in the woods behind your house.
I’ll let you know once it’s done!
Lena’s been here for over a month already, that says enough in itself.
I hope you’re all good buddy. Take care!
Billy,
this is good news and makes me smile. I am sure this book will be something you can be proud of. You have photos worth looking at and texts worth reading. You know how I think about it…
I’d love to have one of these 30 first edition copies –with a signature of course!!
And: Liebe Grüße an Lena!
I am okay. I don’t shoot as much as I would like to, as building this business means to work on a lot of other not so pleasant things as well, but I consider this an episode. All in all it is more fun than anything else.
If there is anything I can do to help you with the project, let me know!
Michael
Great picture my friend, I can’t wait to se more of him.
